The pool and Tiki Bar was great. Our room was not what we expected. The refrigerator did not work. There was a 2nd one in the room, but we weren't told when we checked in that the main one wasn't working properly. The next morning, we realized it was only 50 degrees inside. The patio door didn't lock and there was no way of securing it (since we came in at night, we didn't realize it until the next morning. Again, management knew about it but failed to tell us. They put a stick in it to secure it for the rest of our vacation. There were holes in the wall in the bathroom (apparently from some large wall screws). There was no room by the bathroom sink to set anything other than our toothbrushes. The bedroom had a small lamp across from the beds. No other lighting in the bedroom by the beds or anything. The vinyl flooring moved up and down when you walked across it in spots so apparently the glue is letting loose. There was a spot in the kitchen where it was cracked and a few small pieces were missing. This unit was advertised as a "Bay view" room. Yes, you could see the bay from the room but when I think of a Bay view, I expect to be overlooking the bay, not the parking lot and busy street with the Bay visible off to the right. Thoroughly disappointed in our experience! Also, when you spend that much for a week vacation, you shouldn't have to pay $30/day to "rent" a chair to sit on the beach.

422w - The service was good. The staff friendly. The room has some issues. It is an older room. The toilet ran on and off all night. The AC was supper loud and the fridge made some noises that sounded strange.

512 - Nothing! We have never stayed in a room so filthy dirty! Mold on the ceiling and complete filth in the bathroom to the point I wouldn’t even shower! Extremely disappointed and wanted the name of the manager so we could personally share our experience with him or her! I have pictures as well to share!

516 We normally love staying at Island Inn and have had great experiences in the past. Unfortunately, this stay was disappointing. The bed in our room, 516, was very soft and had noticeable divots, making it extremely uncomfortable to sleep on and it is definitely in need of replacement.
We went to the front desk to ask about possibly switching rooms due to the bed issue. I approached the situation politely and respectfully to the staff member at the desk. As she was checking availability, she interrupted me to assist two other guests while I was standing there, which felt a little frustrating during what was already a disappointing situation. After the 2nd guests started going on about the dirty condition of their room and wanted to speak to a manager, I just walked away.
When my husband came down in the morning to grab pillows, so that he could sleep that night, she did say that she found us a room...which we could have for ONE night. We were staying 3 more nights. I wonder why she just didn't have us move and then put the new people in our room??
We were also disappointed that there was no pizza oven or toaster in the room. There were a lot less amenities in the room that we have had in the past in other rooms. little disappointed.
We truly enjoy this property and hope this feedback helps improve future stays.

418 - We ALWAYS love your staff. Never an issue. This was our 4th year there and every year I have to spend one to two hours cleaning. Last year and this year we had to wash the dishes, wipe out inside of cabinets. Neither year did we even use space u day the bath sink because so dirty and smelly. Each year I have to clean out the closet before we can put clothes in. Always sandy and dusty.
We love your location, we love your pricing, we love your staff but have decided to move on next year due to smell and unclean each year.

Room 403 was overall a wonderful experience: the room was clean and updated countertops from last year, great views from the deck.The bathroom however was just OK. The shower handle did not work properly, very loose, resulting in not receiving much hot water. On the last day the shower handle did not work at all and we had to go to a different room to shower ( where there was plenty of hot water) The staff was excellent and willing to help whenever they could. We will go back next year and hopefully the bathroom situation is fixed.

210 - The resort staff was great, very helpful and friendly. We were disappointed in our room 210 for the following reasons-1- the hair dryer was from the 1960’s and the cover was missing making it a hazard. 2-The burners were missing the rack that holds them flat ( a tin plate was used instead??? 3- the bathroom was dated and had rot on the door jam bottom and the exhaust fan filthy and noisy- won’t last long ..

508 - We have stayed here several times and were very happy. Was very disappointed with having to take lukewarm showers and not having hot water for doing dishes. After letting water run for 10 minutes still lukewarm. Spoke to someone about it and she said to let it run for awhile.
Elevator broke down so we had to take the stairs a few times.

517 - This unit left ALOT to be desired. From the moment we walked in it smelled damp and moldy. The kitchen cabinets were falling apart from the water damage and the refrigerator had rust spots. Under the bathroom sink there was black mold on the wall, the closet doors were collapsed and rusted, and the furniture seemed to have been purchased at Goodwill. The mattress was old and hard. The only plus about this unit was the view. I definitely will not be back.

203 - I was moved to this room after the disaster that was room 517. I did not appreciate paying more for a better unit that had a bad view. The sliding doors had tints that were peeling off and the unit was located lower in the building than what I had requested. Other then that, the unit was comfortable. I won't be back to that building.

Absolutely wonderful stay… the room was immaculate, very much a condo feel with all the amenities, like fridge, stove, micro, all dinnerware, etc. The king bed was extremely comfy and the balcony overlooking the beach and Gulf and especially the incredible sunsets, made it perfect! Parking is tight, but there is an overflow lot right across the street… so just unload gear at the building entrance and plenty of parking 150 ft.across the street, however, we got lucky with timing and found space under the building. The location could not be better… we preferred to stay a couple minutes north of St. Pete Beach to avoid the higher prices and the tourists. The gorgeous beaches there are all the same incredible beauty, so we much preferred being a couple miles north and practically had the beach to ourselves! It was fantastic! Highly recommend if you truly want a waterfront place with full Gulf views from balcony, walk right out onto the beach! staff was wonderful, easy check-in and the entire facility was clean and well-managed. We saved almost $100 per night over the same type of beachfront rooms in St. Pete’s Beach proper… and were only 5 minutes away! Much better by far… you will not be disappointed. We still ventured to St. Pete’s for dinner and breakfast (Rick’s Reef was awesome, and most popular with locals.) There are of course many different rooms to choose from at Island Inn, we found the decor and newer look of #306 to be the nicest and still high enough for views and low enough floor to easily use the stairs instead of elevator. It was a perfect stay for us all around! 5+++

601 - Room 601 has amazing views. The room was clean, but the cleaning solutions used was a little overpowering. We opened the sliding glass door and let in the fresh gulf air, and all was well. With tracking in beach sand, I went to use the broom, but it was broken. I was able to carefully use it, but a new broom is recommended. And a good cleaning of the balcony is needed. The only disappointing issue was that both mornings we were there we couldn't sit out on the balcony to enjoy our coffee and the breathtaking view. The outdoor smoking table/area is right under room 601 and the smoke of course travels up. Other than that, you have an awesome facility, perfect location and friendly staff.

Room was great. Nicely updated. Had everything we needed. Very clean. Loved the high chairs on the balcony. Both beds have extra firm mattresses. A little uncomfortable for us but good for people that like them. But we lived the room. Easy check in. Ladies were very friendly. No complaints. We love this hotel. Been visiting for almost 18 years. Won't stay anywhere else.

**203 **The staff was great, location was great. The room has what could be easy fixes/updates to make the stay even better. Steam clean the floors (our socks were quite dirty walking on them), replace the hair dryer so there is not a weird wall piece hanging from it, get a working toaster, have more than 1 working bbq and consider updating the pool towels.

My husband and I spent six days over the Christmas holiday in room 313. Excellent location with everything you need to enjoy a day at the beach and to relax after the sun goes down. The unit is well appointed with a king bed with coast vibe decorations that are comfortable and practical right down to the balcony furniture.
The complex as a whole is comfortable with good amenities and some excellent staff to help you during your stay. Close to everything yet far enough away to have a more intimate beach experience. Would definitely stay here again if we vacation at Treasure Island in the future.

The staff was so nice, helpful and super friendly! Our room was clean and comfortable and the views are AMAZING! This area is family friendly and best of all, less crowded and peaceful. Access to the beach was perfect, the green space with grills was a nice touch and umbrella seating by the pool so very lovely. Shops and stores are conveniently close by along with plenty of parking at the resort. The only thing that could have been improved was the water temperature....it took wayyyy too long for hot water to hit the shower and was the same at the kitchen sink. Other than that, we are looking forward to returning and would highly recommend a stay here for everyone!

510 - Your website encourages visitors while ignoring the construction on the beach. I was woken up Sunday and Monday at 3:30am by them moving loud equipment that shook the ground. The equipment sat still almost all day. When the equipment was going, the beeping was loud.
It was not the usual peaceful beach as usual.

307 - In general, the room was great. Decent amenities and thoughtful touches. We loved the comfortable chairs on the patio and the small table. However, the shower curtain was so flimsy that it constantly billowed out, making the bathroom floor soaking wet—even with the shower head pointed towards the wall. A huge safety hazard; my husband couldn’t shower because of it. He was afraid he would slip and fall. Also, adding grab bars to the shower would help a lot. We would recommend the room and would also recommend that a heavier shower curtain be installed.

We enjoyed our stay and would have given a rating of 5 stars however, …
First, Only one elevator was working (I guess still under rehab?);
Secondly, very small ants (sugar ants?) were evident throughout kitchen and bathrooms;
Third, flood was very dirty,,needs to be mopped and vacuumed!
On the Positive side of this review,,,
The staff were very pleasant and professional throughout our stay. The weather, pool, and beach were great!

Island Inn Beach Resort was perfect for what I was looking for. I flew in from Atlanta to Tampa and Ubered over to the hotel on a Saturday evening around 6:30pm. I traveled solo for a respite trip.
I was greeted by a very courteous staff member who explained the amenities and where room 403 was. I was pleasantly surprised with a beautiful and very clean room. I immediately ordered a couple of things from Publix and they delivered within an hour.
The bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet at night. The view was phenomenal! Loved the furniture on the balcony.
I was pleased that there were beach chairs in the room. I just grabbed a chair and my towel and hit the beach every morning until sunset. The sunsets were amazing. The beach was not crowed at all. The front side of the hotel shows the beautiful harbor and the backside the beautiful ocean.
I did not use the pool or Tiki Bar as I was there just for the sand in my toes:)
My last stay was at Madeira Beach a few yrs ago which was great but I will most definitely be returning to the Island Inn Beach Resort at Treasure Island for my next solo respite trip or any beach trip!! I highly recommend Island Inn Beach Resort.

We love the tiki bar and how late the tiki bar stayed open. We swim in the pool at night, it was such a vibe. How close you are to the ocean is amazing and the staff were super polite and nice. The rooms are super clean and the convenience of the outdoor shower right next to the hotel was awesome. We will definitely be staying here again. I can’t wait to see what it looks like after the construction because it’s already perfect as it is

What a jewel of a find in Treasure Island! My stay at Island Inn Resort was wonderful. I found the property well maintain, clean, safe, and convenient to many restaurants and shops. I appreciated the free parking and amenities offered by the resort during my stay. My room 510 was clean, comfortable, and updated and offered beautiful gulf views. I highly recommend Island Resort Inn and will definitely be back soon!

We LOVED our stay! The sunset view was spectacular from our balcony! We loved being able to go downstairs and walk straight to the beach! Our room was clean and the decor had a beautiful beachy feel! The staff at the front desk were always friendly and helpful! Hope to be able to come back some day!

The Island in is our favorite place to stay!! This was our 4th visit and every time we’ve stayed in a different room. The rooms are always clean and inviting. You can’t beat the sound of waves and the beautiful sunset view from the balcony. If I could give this place 6 starts I would!

The location is awesome! Right on the Gulf and in walking distance to restaurants, party store, a some cute shops! The hotel staff was great! We arrived early & they had a place to store our luggage & then housekeeping gave a a few beach towels so we could hang out on the beach. The on-site Tiki Bar is a fun spot, too!

The perfect place for a beautiful getaway. The whole place is well maintained, clean and met our needs! Sunsets are amazing, pool is heated and recently improved! Bar is simple yet perfect! For a vacation where you want convenience to restaurants, shops, beach and palm trees, I’d stay here again and again!

What a quaint place! Our room was super clean, well appointed with a great beach view and minimal foot traffic or noise outside our door. We had a quick getaway and this place was perfect. The front desk staff was very friendly and efficient. Due to very windy chilly weather we did not get to try out the pool or tiki bar but next time for sure!

Room was clean and had everything we needed… Understood with Covid and staffing issues that house keeping was not issued but could be if needed…
My husband and I loved Scott at the Tiki Bar every Sunset weather permitting.. Loved spending mornings walking on the beach looking for shells….

Have stayed here several times love the property! Close to the beach, best pool and tiki bar around!
Only issues with one person on staff was rude other wise everyone else has always been amazing!
Book through Island Inn not through any other agencies like Itrip. Itrip was horrible to deal with. I wish the owners association would kick Itrip out.

The room was spacious, had a full kitchen, and a balcony with a gorgeous view of the ocean. There are beachside grills for everyone’s use as well. The staff was friendly and helpful and the entire property was clean and well cared for. The pool has a fun tiki bar with great drinks and snacks. The beach is just a few steps away with chairs, umbrellas, and cabanas all available for rent daily. Great price for all the amenities and private beach access! Loved our weekend there and highly recommend it!

This hotel was GREAT! The room was completely renovated and it was practical and so beautiful. The entire property is very clean and well kept. The views are to die for. The staff was very nice and attentive. Nobody walks past without an enthusiastic hello. The amenities are so many that you feel like you're at home. We took some things and didn't even need to unpack them. The beach there feels private. It's not like the popular beaches near by that are crammed full of people. The beach is cleaned regularly so it's nice and white and soft. There is a large section that is corded off by the city were you can swim without worrying about safety. The pool is nice too. No hot tub but it was plenty big for lots of fun. There is a Tiki Bar right there in the pool area. Great staff there too! The only major issue was PARKING. There is not enough parking on the property so they have over flow across the street. Not an issue if you don't have to leave the property a lot. The other issue was the TV which coincidentally had the only channel I wanted to watch with no sound. Maintenance came and the work around was turning on Closed Captioning. Not fun to watch TV that way. Aside from those two things we had a great time and would highly recommend this property. We will be back!

I loved the location, close to restaurants and grocery stores/shopping. I loved that was just a short walk to the beach. I liked that there were dishes, silverware, a microwave and fridge in the room.

Great Resort with Breathtaking Ocean views from your balcony. Nice pool/bar area. New grills and outside eating area. Location is perfect.
